Going to the theatre after the coronavirus lockdown could be not just a novel but a more pleasant experience, if the plans of Germany’s leading theatres are anything to go by. There will be generous legroom for spectators and a more casual attitude to toilet breaks.

As if theatres were ever that crowded in the first place.

It is time to include remote viewing...meaning anyone wanting to watch it can from anywhere including a replay for the different time zones. They can pay a lot less but so many more people would have access, the theatres might be able to survive then.

There is no way a theater can survive in those circumstances
