Extinction Rebellion has promised 'non-violent civil disobedience' will continue for a fourth day until its demands are met.

Three people have been charged over this week's climate change protests in London, as demonstrators target a new bridge in the city.

The British Transport Police has confirmed that the trio have been charged, and they are expected to appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court later on Thursday.

Death or Glory!

Time to stop ALL benefits for ALL arrested anarchists!😂

Ask why these people are so motivated. Why there is so much public disharmony. Check out SuperSySez’s Tweet:

Im on the side of the protesters, too many people out there including the government are NOT taking this seriously enough, it does need addressing NOW

if we don't change our ways our planet our earth will NOT be here in 50 years.....!

Police charge those affecting City because metpoliceuk are in the pay of the rich not to protect the population ExtinctionRebellion

What good do these morons think they will achieve that people aren’t already aware of

Lock them up keep them locked up

Some people have 'more in common' than others. If this was a Brexit betrayal blockade they would be pressure washing the cracked skulls off the road within the hour.

Truth will be soon.

adamboultonSKY just turned Extinction Rebellion protests into an Extinction Level Event! Can you please inform them global food production in the Northern Hemisphere will end global food shortages as a warmer climate ' makes arable farming great again!' 😁

prosecute them the same as they did with the brexit protesters blocking the motorways

ExtinctionRebelion - So to stop climate change, pollution etc - you think causing traffic is a great solution?

Why use the word 'swarm'. They are not insects. You are making them sound scary.

Ill informed, middle class, nut jobs.

Blocking a road is breaking the laws of the land! simple!

UKIP ARE ON THE SIDE OF THE ENVIRONMENT

3 charged.....out of 400 arrests?!

As with remaining in the EU it is always about what London wants so as for these tree huggers well you can have them they are just a bunch of middle class knob sacks

I love the irony...climate protesters creating more pollution because of their actions, blocking the roads of central London.....you couldn't make it up.

Don't they get that the reason for their protest is being minimized by their actions!!!

All drinking water from plastic bottles hypocrites

We shouldn't be so hard on them. We've all fallen for the climate change myth one time or another.

Threaten them with a bar of soap , that’ll scatter them quick enough .....

scabby soap-dodgers... the stench must be overwhelming, those poor police officers...

They will enjoy the beautiful surroundings and it will take them days to get back to London so cannot cause any more trouble. I had not realised there was still so Much idlness in the UK. cant they be put to work ?

'Shut the country down': British climate group Extinction Rebellion heads to USWith dozens of events next week, many hope arrival of climate punks who’ve swept the UK will be a watershed moment Mass suicide by these climate punks ExtinctionR would go some way to assist climate change by reducing their carbon footprint to zero? ExtinctionRebellion this makes me very skeptical about the whole climate debate They just blew it with the clown dressed as Carmen Miranda. I'd love to see these people protest in China, or Russia, or India etc. and in places where the REAL pollution is happening.
