Galatasaray?

Looking forward to Arsenal v Galatasaray in a meaningless mid-table game behind closed doors in February. stopthesuperleague

So 15 founders and 5 annual qualifiers? What happens if one of the 15 or one of the 5 finishes bottom?

The Super League is everything I don’t like about sports. It has none of the qualities that got me hooked. Maybe people will watch a league whose sole goal is to make money at the expense of the drama, but I hope it fails

Their won't be a new super league. They will be banned from anything else and be considered traitors to the rest of the world. The supporters will not accept it. No more domestic leagues.

It won't

The European Loser League is the actual word. A combination of clubs owned by Hedge Funds, The Russian and American Mob and billionaires. Most clubs haven't won anything, in the last decade. Strip them of their money and kick them out of the domestic leagues.

It works like this - people who desperately need to fill the hole in their soul with money come up with a brainwave to exploit their club. UEFA and local leagues sue them. Managers, staff and players go on strike. Fans daub graffiti on anything to do with the owners. The end.

IT WILL NEGATE THE GAME AS A LEGITIMATE COMPETITION, when the same clubs are entered regardless of league status ? it will see home fans exodus from interest , and will become a corporate media based money making object , soul less without home fans? alternatives will be found.

You assholes are probably gonna try and sell it to us . Soulless pigs .

Pay per view probably

It won’t work, no fan of football will watch it.

Lol at the Man United fans from anywhere but Manchester claiming this goes against the traditions of the game. Time to consider the rules of many sports that limit ownership and salary levels. One Arsenal fan explains why he will be watching the new European Super League Because Arsenal can’t qualify for Europe through merit 🤔. The best teams on a regular basis, it will be like there's always the best team and the worst and you have to fork out more money than now due to the debts the teams have to recover. Arsenal have the same amount of points as Leeds this season. Bon chance....

Super League: Why are football's biggest clubs starting new tournament?Europe's biggest teams have suffered during the Covid pandemic and say they want financial stability. This won't happen! Greed Sadly, the only way this will fall down is if football fans vote with their feet....don’t buy tickets/don’t pay to watch it on tv. Football fans are too entrenched in their clubs to make this stand. It’s been coming especially as UCL is no longer guaranteed. moneyruinssport
