"I love the way the episode ended up being," Huertas said.
"But it might have been cool for maybe William to hand Rebecca over to Miguel, and have Miguel lead Rebecca to Jack, and open the door, and say: 'There he is'. If I was the writer, maybe I would have done that. "Miguel always wanted her to be happy. And so when she sees Jack, I think he wanted her to walk in with a smile. That was my take. That's what I wanted as an actor to do for Miguel – to have him be that kind of last bastion of joy before she sees Jack."
The actor, however, did appreciate Rebecca being with Jones' character on her imaginary train journey, admitting that"we wouldn't have had that brilliant last couple of lines from William" had the episode been different.
