A former soldier has appeared in court charged with the murders of young parents Stephen and Jennifer Chapple.
Jennifer, 33, and Stephen 36, were found with serious injuries at their home at around 9.45pm on Sunday.Jennifer was working in a garden centre at the time, while her husband was a teacher.Jennifer’s manager Rob Brookes described her as ‘a well loved member of staff and a very kind person’. ‘Stephen and the kids would sometimes come in and we got to know them too. They were a really close knit, loving family.’Police asked for their privacy to be respected after it was announced last night that Reeves had been charged.
‘It is undoubtedly an extremely difficult time for them and I’d ask their privacy is respected as they continue to come to terms with what has happened.’
