Evri is a shower of 🤬 can’t run a service. Needs something doing as you pay for a delivery and in a time frame, Evri fails and you can’t claim your money back.
I think the retailers want to review whether they can afford the reputational damage of having their products shipped through Evri. Frankly, the firm doesn’t deserve to be in business- it’s utterly incapable of operating properly - however many times they change the name.

I must be fortunate then...every evri parcel sent to my address has arrived on time with the same consciousness driver. And on Friday I sent, for the very first time an urgent package, via evri, to my mother & paid for next day delivery...it arrived yesterday.
2 parcels (Christmas presents) ordered from same company within 1 hr one another. Paid express delivery for both.1 arrived. 1 has apparently disappeared off the face of the earth! Evri as much use as a chocolate teapot! Contact supplier in ten days was the response! Amateurs! 😡

Evri had my parcel 2 weeks ago from the company I bought from! Then 2 days ago its suddenly ‘LOST’ 😩😳🎄🎁 … changing a companies name doesn’t improve their service / reputation!! 😡
Maybe if we went to a shop bought what we wanted and went home things may improve

Evri yodel thrive ? Why ? Because the RM prices are extortionate. Same size parcel medium-ish. RM price £6.50 up to 5 kg Evri & yodel £2.50 up to 15kg As a business , which one you would prefer ?
Evri needs to go bankrupt and stop working. The best is Yodel I find and even then they are far from 'good.' Evri are terrible. I am still waiting on an item from November 😅 the tracking says it will be delivered next day - it hasn't been updated in over a month.

Not having a failing Royal Mail system at late notice didn’t help. If they knew it was going to be strikeson this scale they might have been able to get higher numbers of drivers etc

Evri is a terrible, terrible service. It doesn't make any difference if you change it's name. It's the owners and all the staff who need to be changed to actually make a difference in the company.

I use Evri quite a lot. Never had an issue in Penarth, same driver (Ian) each time. Always on time and takes care of the parcels.

8.20pm last Sunday - Parcel ‘delivered’ by EVRI. Proof? A photo showing nothing but a black screen. We have a RING doorbell. No-one tried to deliver a thing. From now on, any retailer using EVRI loses my business. Worse than a shambles.

I returned a package from Amazon via the Evri option. Worth £130. They lost it somewhere between the dropoff point and their depot. They offered £10 so I lost £120 using them. Never again
Been using Hermes/Evri for many years and never really had a problem. My local driver is pretty good. He's been rushed off his feet recently but goes out of his way to make deliveries. Yesterday they said they couldn't deliver a parcel due to icy weather, but it arrived at 9pm.
I try and not do business with anyone who openly says they use Evri.

They are terrible in general regardless of whether or not it's Christmas time. I don't think I have ever had a parcel turn up on the day that I'm told it's arriving..
I will not buy from retailers who use Evri/Hermes as their courier. In my experience, well before the Christmas rush, they hold parcels for weeks and deliver them elsewhere other than addressed. The item has to be reordered either at the expense of me or the retailer.
How do they 'lose' parcels? Seriously... they pick it up in a van... then it goes to a warehouse/lock up? Then back in a van I assume... so at what point does it get lost? I've had it happen to me before still can't figure out how something gets lost.
Evri left my parcel outside in the freezing weather and didn't even bother to try ringing my bell (I was in). I also wonder how many of their couriers have proper business insurance for their vehicles. Their business practice is unethical.
Guess I've been very lucky. Sent or received upwards of 50 Hermes/Evri parcels and only had one minor issue. Parcel Force however (and x3 the price) is 💩.
I have sent nearly 200 parcels with Evri over the last few months.. Absolutely fine.. Currently got two in transit.. They are far better than the useless RM and I will continue to use them..

Evri is a private company. They can be as sh!t as they like. A nationalised not-for-profit Royal Mail would be a far better solution.

Evri is rubbish 24/7 365..... not just at Christmas.... I've a loads of 24hr overnight parcels......which were replaced by suppliers with the original one arriving after 153 hrs plus...instead of 24 hr..... absolute joke, don't know why anyone uses them
