777 Partners are still awaiting approval from the Premier League for a £500million takeover deal struck with Moshiri back in September.Other groups remain interested in striking a deal, but the exclusivity agreement signed by Moshiri and 777 Partners is currently stopping a hijack. However, Maguire explained that there will be “break clauses” in the exclusivity agreement which could pave the way for a Qatar deal.Football Insider’s“I think the challenge that he has is that 777 Partners have an exclusivity contract and we don’t know what the break clauses are if he decides to seek money elsewhere.So until that’s resolved, if he wants to find a Qatar-based owner he’s going to be in an awkward position.
