One of the biggest fanzone spaces in English football with the potential to hold 25,000 is set to revolutionise the matchday experience for spectators at Everton’s new stadium due to its “unique location.”

The carefully choreographed show, filmed and screened live on a large screen nearby and broadcast live on the club’s YouTube channel, includes live music and special guests.
Earlier this month, following the relocation of all deliveries to the north end of the stadium, craftsmen from Vetter, a specialist stone contactor and part of the Laing O’Rourke group, the main contractor for Everton Stadium, began focusing their efforts on combining the two paved sections of the plaza.
“This makes it equivalent in size to Pier Head in Liverpool, which is often used to stage concerts and major events, while on matchday capacity will be somewhere between 10,000 to 15,000. The fan plaza therefore provides event organisers with another viable location, in tandem with the stadium itself, to host a variety of mainstream events, both on matchdays and as a ‘365 destination’.
Town and County Sports is a provider of youth sports across the community for all ages and abilities. Their football arm offers a variety of programmes for players aged three to 18, from Recreational to Academy and Select . Everton International Technical Manager Paddy Byrne will assist in sharing the Everton Academy curriculum and methods used at Finch Farm to develop both player and coaching skills. This, in turn, will provide Town and Country Sports with additional knowledge and resources to assist with the club’s goal to develop the stars of tomorrow in the United States.
Delivered in partnership with Fans Supporting Foodbanks, Your Local Pantry, FareShare and Feeding Liverpool, the weekly pantry was initially set up to combat food insecurity within Liverpool 4 following the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent cost-of-living crisis by providing members with access to high-quality discounted food; quickly establishing itself as the third biggest ‘Your Local Pantry’ in the UK.
