Euroviisut 2024: lähetykset, osallistujat sekä aikataulu

Euroviisut lähestyvät jälleen kovaa vauhtia. Vaikka Suomen sekä muiden maiden edustajat ovat toistaiseksi hämärän peitossa, Euroopan merkittävin jokavuotinen musiikkitapahtuma on jo vallannut otsikot.

Suomalaisittain monien katseet kääntyvät Uuden Musiikin Kilpailuun, jossa valitaan kotimaamme edustaja. Suomen edustaja tiedetään 10. helmikuuta 2024 järjestettävän finaalin jälkeen.Euroviisut näytetään Ylen kanavilla sekä YLE Areena -suoratoistopalvelussa. Tiistain ja torstain semifinaalit sekä lauantain finaali ovat katsottavissa ilmaiseksi Suomessa.Jos satut olemaan ulkomailla, ei hätä ole onneksi niin suuri.

Viime vuonna mukana olleista maista poissa on Romania. Tämä on kuitenkin vielä epävarmaa, sillä syynä on osallistumismaksun sekä budjetin välinen ristiriita. EBU on antanut lisäaikaa asian ratkaisemiseen. Seuraavat maat eivät osallistu Euroviisuihin vuonna 2023. Maan perässä on suluissa merkintä siitä, milloin maa on viimeksi ollut mukana.Koska osallistujat eivät ole vielä tiedossa, on voittajan ennakoiminen lähes mahdotonta. Ukrainalla voi toki olla hyvät mahdollisuudet saada jälleen runsaasti sympatiaääniä, minkä lisäksi Ruotsi on perinteisesti panostanut Euroviisuihin merkittävästi.
