Euro 2024 referee leaves tournament with immediate effect after being 'dismissed by UEFA'

A referee at Euro 2024 has left the tournament with immediate effect after being 'dismissed' by UEFA.

The best officials in Europe are in Germany for the Euros, but ONE referee won't be taking charge of any more games at the tournament.Reports claim Manzano is needed in Spain, with a report claiming a 'Spanish representative on the arbitration commission is urgently needed'.

But Poland's Szymon Marciniak and Premier League referee Michael Oliver are among the referees who have been appointed for ties in the last 16.Marciniak will referee Saturday's match between Italy and Switzerland while Olivier has been appointed to officiate Germany and Denmark.
