Agitu Ideo Gudeta built a thriving cheese business in Italy after fleeing Ethiopia. She was seen as a success story at a time of political controversy over migration. Her Ghanaian employee Agitu Gudeta is said to have confessed to her killing.

I watched a television program about her. She seemed to be a kind yet bold women. who had carved out a niche for herself on unfamiliar ground. I had assumed if anyone killed her it would be a white bigot. Goes to show you.
