Looters held aid workers at gunpoint and stole essential food supplies from warehouses, the UN says.

Fighting broke out over a year ago between government troops and the Tigray Peoples' Liberation Front , which dominated Ethiopia for decades and now controls Tigray.

But the rebels mounted a comeback, recapturing Tigray and advancing into the neighbouring region of Amhara. US State Department spokesman Ned Price said the humanitarian catastrophe in northern Ethiopia remains an "absolute priority" for the United States.Media caption,By Emmanuel Igunza, BBC News, Nairobi

Since the beginning of the conflict a year ago, 28 humanitarians have been killed, making the country one of the most dangerous for aid workers, according to the UN.

The globalists can afford to fly to the moon yet they cant stop poverty and hunger!!!

I wish I could hear something from the Eth. Mainstream medias related to this

Your headline should have been '' UN halts food aid after TPLFTerroristGroup looted its warehouses ''and the other funny thing is UN waited until the government reclaimed the cities and stopped their aid so that they could put some pressure on gov't.The drama continues.NoMore

this time too the aid was delivered to the looter TDF? shame! TPLF prefers feeding its fighters to keep expanding and starving civilians to keep playing its famine propaganda

There are a variety of accusations of the TPLF looting humanitarian aid for military purposes. While visiting trenches we were told were used by TPLF I saw these repurposed bags. it does appear to lend credence to those accusations.Note the US flag on one.

Please say it!! Looted by TPLF terrorist group NoMore
