Enzo Maresca's Chelsea deal increases Summerville's Leeds United departure

Chelsea have their man in new manager Enzo Maresca, with the now former Leicester City boss appointed on a five-year contract. The question for Leeds United supporters is, will the Blues' next move be to get their man in the form of Whites winger Crysencio Summerville ?

While the spending is unlikely to dry up anytime soon, Chelsea are understood to be looking to be slightly more prudent in their financial dealings this summer as they try to balance the books amid the demands of the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability rules. While a fee in the region of £35m has been mooted for Summerville, that would represent significantly less than the outlay on some Chelsea players in recent years. The arrival of Maresca is thought to increase the likelihood of a move from the Blues for Leeds' Championship player of the season, with the ex-Foxes manager having seen close hand Summerville's attributes this past season as the Whites pushed his side all the way for the league title and promotion.
