England fans scrambling for tickets to watch Sunday’s Women’s European Championship final against Germany are being charged up to £1,625 a ticket on one resale website.
Tickets for the game at Wembley Stadium sold out before tournament began and the two finalists were confirmed this week when England and Germany defeated Sweden and France respectively. Touts are now taking advantage of the fact England fans are desperate to see the Lionesses compete in their first major final since 2009.at between £99 and £199 for hospitality seats.Concession tickets were priced at £25 , £15 and £7.50 .with prices ranging from £172 to £1,250 per ticket.
The website then charges customers a service and tax fee which takes the tickets priced at £1,250, which is for a club level premium seat, up to £1,625.Over 2,900 customers have reviewed the ticketing website with 74 per cent labelling it as “excellent”, 14 per cent “great” and seven per cent “bad”.Sarina Wiegman’s side have won every game at the tournament so far with Austria, Norway, Northern Ireland, Spain and Sweden all losing to the Lionesses.
I hope no one buys the resale tickets
So don't buy them. I hate resellers too, but just accept you missed out. Stop giving these people money.
