Search Google for Travellers leaving camp, it's never good news Peterborough human waste left Poole same Cornwall etc. I found one article saying no problem with travellers. Usually there's a clean up cost to a council never the travellers
Not all leave places damaged after they leave a camp they set up on for free in their 4x4 and big caravans etc. Most of the time sadly it's true that the crime rate goes up & places are left in a filthy state. Change this then views will change

That idyllic image of a Traveller with horses is sadly misleading. Irish Travellers are notorious for their savagery to animals - including horses and the dogs they steal and breed from - not to mention their atrocious use of cats and rabbits. Ask the ISPCA!

From my first memory as a child until today, every single instance of them moving near me left a litter strewn field. It's not a 'stereotype' if they do it every single time, it's a trait. The problem is theirs, not ours.
