Leonardo_live Funny, when commodities like oil and gas go up, companies just pay up. But when it comes to wages they are hell bent on keeping pay below inflation year on year. It’s a corporate -European wide strategy. Now they pay the price.

these kinds of shortage claims are ALWAYS SCAMS. There will never be a 'shortage' if pay&benefits good (& commensurate w/ effort needed to get the degree. engg degrees way harder). GER has good pay for engineers so they have more engineers. Simple.

It is the engineers & mechanics who are the foundation of aviation & aerospace. The gap is even greater in the Caribbean & Africa due to a lack of quality training and governmental support. Change the accessibility, not the perception. I've done it and will continue to do so.

“People still think of engineering as dirt, spanners and grazing your knuckles under a car, but that is just no longer the case” The real truth is The reason why I and so many others became engineers was because of the dirt and spanners aspect.
