Emmerdale fans are worried that Jai Sharma, played by Chris Bisson, could be the next victim of his father Amit's deadly actions. Amit has already shown he's capable of murder, having shockingly killed his brother Rishi Sharma, a character loved by many viewers, in an unexpected plot twist. In the latest episode, viewers saw the story unfold as Amit interacted with other residents of the Dales.
Jai watched as his father handed over the cash, and was present at the Hide when Amit returned claiming he had been attacked by three thugs who had stolen the money. Although they suggested he should report the incident to the police, Amit was reluctant - completely unaware that Jai knows the truth about where the money really went, reports the Mirror.
Taking to social media to share their theories, fans didn't hold back as they revealed they feared that Jai could soon become Amit's latest victim. One fan wrote: “I don’t like where this is heading. Amit would kill Jai in a heartbeat to save his own skin.”However a third was more suspicious and wrote: "Eric! Please don't hand everything you know about Amit over to Jai. He can't be trusted either. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to that family.
Adding further fuel to the fire was actor Chris Bisson, who appeared on This Morning and hinted at a major stunt in upcoming episodes.
