BBC Match of the Day and Leeds United TV presenter Emma Jones has opened up about four things her mum taught her after reliving the tragic moment she found out her mum had died of cancer.
Emma Jones told her followers how even 16 years on, the impact her mum had on her lives on, through her sense of humour, her diet and the way she admits her 'flaws'.Emma Jones, in a candid post, said: "16 years ago today I rolled over next to my nanna in bed and she said "I think she'll be okay tonight'."The phone rang in the middle of the night and we silently bundled ourselves into the car where grandad drove us for what seemed like an eternity, to say goodbye.
"Grief has had such a profound impact on my life. It will always hurt to live without mum, but I also have an unwavering feeling of gratitude. I feel so completely grateful that I get to wake up and enjoy life.
