EMILY THORNBERRY was savaged for her Labour leadership campaign launch as she said “Labour is not beaten” despite the party having lost four elections in a row.

Emily Thornberry hit out at Prime Minister Boris Johnson as she said the Labour Party is “not beaten” after suffering a humiliating defeat in the December general election which saw some Labour seats turn Tory for the first time in history. The Shadow Foreign Secretary received backlash from social media users as they pointed out Labour's humiliation at the polls and labelled Ms Thornberry “pitiful”.
