What does that even mean “everyone in the country”? Have you done a poll? What we do know as a given is everyone in the country shares a want for the truth and since her statement was of factual truth, she therefore spoke for everyone.
I certainly don’t share her view, and regardless of what she ‘thought’, she shouldn’t have said it. The media are inciting much of the hatred towards DC. The ‘offence’ was no different to what thousands of others have done. It was stupid, but not deserving of such a vendetta.
