A train station in Glasgow was "shut off completely" following a police incident last night, with services brought to a halt.
Emergency services rushed to Bridgeton station on Thursday, February 22 following the incident. There were reportedly 'six police vehicles and two ambulances' in attendance at around 9.30pm. The station was closed while police and paramedics dealt with the disturbance before reopening just before 10.45pm. ScotRail last night wrote on X: "Emergency services are dealing with an ongoing incident at Bridgeton station. The station is currently closed and no trains will call here, customers can use Dalmarnock station as an alternative."They later added: "Disruption caused by an incident near the railway earlier today at Bridgeton has now ended."
