'It sounded like kind of a freak accident and even worse a hit and run, that's just kind of evil, how can you not have a conscience to help the girl you just hit with your boat,' Myles Gelber said.
'I don't know if he was drunk. I don't know if he was not paying attention. But you need to pay attention to the waters and open water like you pay attention to the street,' family friend Robert Strauss, told CBS Miami
