Elderly man seriously injured in Leeds hit and run

Police are appealing for helping finding a driver who hit an elderly man crossing the road in Leeds and then didn't stop.

West Yorkshire Police said the man was crossing the road at the junction between Swinnow Lane and Leeds Bradford Road at around 9.05pm on Friday, January 13. He was seriously injured by the car crashing into him.Read more: Leeds restaurant Ox Club with one of the best roast dinners in the UK Police said the car was travelling from Leeds Bradford Road at the junction with the Halfway House pub. It then turned right onto Swinnow Lane and then left onto Broad Lane.
