Authorities said the shooter, 21-year-old Patrick Crusius, ‘stated his target were Mexicans,’ according to anInvestigators said they believe Crusius wrote a hate-filled document in which he said he wanted to stop the ‘Hispanic invasion’ of Texas., an online message board, just 20 minutes before Crusius began his rampage at the Walmart armed with an AK-47 assault rifle.Crusius reportedly surrendered to Texas Rangers and told them ‘I am the shooter.
El Paso Detective Adrian Garcia said: ‘Agents and police officers at the intersection then observed a male person to exit out of the vehicle with his hands raised in the air and stated out loud to the agents “I’m the shooter.”
