Editorial: It seems to be increasingly the case that the exit from lockdown is being driven by economic considerations and the views of Conservative backbenchers, rather than science

inisters are often heard praising the NHS heroes that have helped get the country through the first months of thecrisis. The prime minister has paid personal tribute to the nurses at St Thomas’ Hospital in London who saved his life. He and many other members of the government have dutifully turned out on a Thursday evening to clap for the carers.

Confidence? What would you need to watch or listen to for that kind of brainwashing? Leaders? you mean this present govt, full of spivs.

Well done Ruth May. Like Professor Van Tam you have done the right thing despite the consequences. CNOEngland

This Government is McCarthyite.

Wks & wks shes stood in silence listening to the lies, ‘helping’ at the only hospital in London that didn’t need help. Now she shows morals by.....silence again. Silence is not excuse, NMC code clear on that. Wilful neglect of duties. This is not what integrity looks like.

The government are the disgrace. SpinelessBoris and Deathsecretary are going to fall to pressure from their tory donors and puppet master tory ministers! We are screwed if lockdown speeds up!
