The government is spending about £500m to pay people to go to restaurants, while families in poverty get next to nothing

Sydnie Corley has found it stressful feeding her two young children since the coronavirus pandemic began. Her six-year-old daughter follows a dairy-free diet, and had a reaction to the packed lunchboxes her school sent out as replacement for free school meals. The boxes Corley received were often filled with unhealthy produce, leaving a single parent on universal credit with little choice but to feed her children what was inside or risk them going without.

I can't help but think that people are more hungry for a normal way of life. (Eat out to help out) CoronaVirus Covid19 Lockdown

While more should be done to help the poor every plea for more money of which of course there are now many is a request for the government to bear yet more debt as the present circumstance compels.

I thought the UK Sikhs will feed Punjabi basmati rice pulao to the tramps. ISKCON (the hari rama hippies) also didn't do much despite the HUUUUUUUGE donations they get.
