Jamie Borthwick has seemingly confirmed his EastEnders exit as his character Jay Brown continues to spiral following the death of wife Lola Pearce.
He took to Instagram in a now deleted post on his story where he shared a young photo of himself and paid tribute to his character. The car dealer, who has been taking drugs to cope with the loss of his wife, was then involved in an accident, with two police officers arriving at The Queen Vic to inform Billy and Ben Mitchell about what had gone on.
Actor Jamie previously hinted at what's to come for his character on the soap after losing Lola, played by Danielle Harold, in May.
