EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt shed 3 stone by cutting one thing from diet

Adam Woodyatt has portrayed Ian Beale in BBC's EastEnders since the programme began in 1985, cementing himself as a soap legend in the process. Just a teenager when he was cast in the soap, Adam has grown up on TV, with fans watching him change over the years.

Adam previously gave an insight into how he managed to shed the pounds. He put his body transformation down to just one habit change. Adam previously told The Mirror: "Basically I gave up alcohol. That was the biggest change I made. With giving up alcohol, the weight drops off and because the weight dropped it was easier to cycle. So it was easier to stay fit."

He admitted giving up alcohol was the "right thing to do" for him, but noted that he won't declare he's "never" going to have a drink again. Adam added: "But at this point in my life, I'm quite happy not drinking. And the result is I've lost about three stone in weight."
