IAN Beale makes his return to EastEnders next week but the Walford legend will be left floored when he finds out that his newest business partner is none other than his arch enemy – Max Branning.
But Ian is soon handed the opportunity to get on his high horse with Kathy when he struggles to get hold of Masood Ahmed to discuss Walford East – the restaurant they launched together. Max – Jake Wood - denies all knowledge of the attack and Ian is later horrified to discover that Max is his new business partner at the restaurant – Masood has gone.
Ian decides to put his son first, but how will he cope with Max – the man who was sleeping with his daughter before her death and who tried to kill his wife – being his new partner?
