is hiring developers to join its new Seattle-based studio in order to work on a future Battlefield single-player campaign., the studio is looking to build “rich, exciting stories with memorable characters and powerful experiences all in the Battlefield universe”.

The ad, which seeks a Design Director to helm the single-player portion of the series would “orchestrate the mission design, narrative, game mechanics, and systems to create the highest quality experience possible”.on, could once again feature a full single-player campaign.

If this is the single-player project that’s based on Battlefied 2042’s Specialists, then I have zero interest… Battlefield isn’t Apex Legends and DICE/EA should’ve doubled-down on what makes this franchise so fantastic, rather than chasing “trends” and mimicking other games etc.

No one likes EA's joke about singleplayer games, even EAEA dissed singleplayer games on Twitter, rankling current and former developers, plus everyone else. EA's best games were single player games.
