Thousands of parents on Universal Credit are set to be given support in order to increase their chances of getting work, or their ours.
The move to better support parents comes after the Government boosted childcare support for low-income families, with up-front and increased costs of up to £951 a month for one child and £1,630 for two or more children – a near 50% increase on the previous Universal Credit childcare offer.
