Dundee have put fans on alert that their clash with Rangers could be postponed due to horrendous weather on Tayside .
Heavy rainfall is hitting the country with the east coast especially affected ahead of the Ibrox side's scheduled visit to Dundee tonight. Philippe Clement's team travel east but have now been informed there is a chance the game will be affected by the conditions – though the Dens Park club are 'optimistic' it will be able to go ahead.
A Dundee statement reads: "Dundee Football Club are currently monitoring the weather conditions due to the recent heavy rainfall. As it currently stands the club are optimistic that this evening’s match against Rangers at The Scot Foam Stadium at Dens Park will go ahead as planned. If there are any updates or changes regarding tonight’s match the club will update supporters through the club website and social media channels.
