Dundee United 'rattled' claim gets slapped away as Raith told what matters

Raith Rovers have tried to noise things up in the Championship title race but Louis Moult has insisted Dundee United will look to do their talking on the Tannadice pitch this weekend.

“We haven’t done that against Raith this season or in enough home games. I enjoy the expectation and pressure, I came here for it. I could have stayed down south, played in League Two but I wanted to sign for a club where it means something and which is going somewhere. We have a lot of young players and the experienced ones like myself have to help them.

The United camp were left frustrated as they failed to come away from this Inverness clash with three points. Liam Grimshaw tried to nick a ball but Aribim Pepple got in behind him. His cross was pushed out by Jack Walton but Wallace Duffy netted. Jim Goodwin was annoyed that his side had gifted another cheap goal. He brought on Moult at the start of the second period and he levelled with a wonder shot from about 40 yards. Inverness felt there was a foul in the build-up.

“It was one of those which either goes up into the stand or it goes in, but the contact was good and it felt nice coming off my laces. So I was watching it thinking it had a chance but then I thought ‘oh no, don’t hit the crossbar and let the keeper catch it’.
