Ninewells Hospital

Stuart Gauld passed away at The Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh after taking unwell last weekend.

Dundee FC is set to hold a minute's applause in honour of a young supporter who died in hospital earlier this week.

It is believed that Stuart suffered fits in the early hours of Saturday, May 11, and was rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. His gran, Rhonda said: "Our grandson Stuart died peacefully yesterday, he was such a brave boy and so clever. Top news stories today "Stuart was only 9 years old and passed away on Monday at The Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. As a mark of respect, there will be a minute of applause before the match tomorrow against Kilmarnock. We would ask all supporters to take part in the applause and show their support to Stuart’s family.
