Dua Lipa is wearing her Birkin bag exactly as its namesake intended. With her forthcoming album Radical Optimism due out on May 3, the singer is in full promo mode. On Tuesday, her duties brought her to Paris, where she was joined by her boyfriend, Masters of the Air star Callum Turner, who played the role of her own personal Serge Gainsbourg. Dua wore a floor-sweeping forest-green leather trench coat over a pair of loose, light-wash blue jeans, and Puma sneakers.
Since she was first spotted with her comparatively sparsely decorated Birkin back in November, the “Training Season” singer has taken steps to wear it just as Jane Birkin did: looking well-used and decorated to high heaven. Her open black bag, stuffed to the brim, was garnished with a heavy mixture of keychains, a colourful Hermès Twilly scarf, and a patterned claw clip. Turner, meanwhile, looked sharp in neutrals.
