Drugged-up Barrhead woman dodges prison after running at paramedic with a knife

A drug-fuelled Barrhead woman has narrowly avoided a jail sentence after a paramedic was forced to wrestle a knife out her hand after she ran at him with it.

The paramedic was so alarmed he was forced to press his emergency assist button to call for back-up. When cops appeared, boozed-up Boyle was surrounded by alcohol miniatures and knives. The court heard how the paramedic moved towards Boyle who was now “swinging” her injured arm around, however, he managed to get a bandage on her.
