A police raid in Peterborough found two mobile phones linking Luis Jalo, 24, and Luca Dagostino, 23, to the "Luca" drug line.
Jalo, of Blessington Road, Lewisham, south-east London, admitted possession of cannabis and being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin and was jailed for five years and nine months. Dagostino, of Regal Place, Peterborough, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin and was jailed for two years and seven months.When police raided a home in Oakdale Avenue, Peterborough, on 7 February they found nine mobile phones, including two linking the pair to the drug line.
The investigation was part of Operation Hypernova 2.0 was carried out alongside the Metropolitan Police Orochi Team, the Eastern Regional Specialist Operation Unit and the British Transport Police.Det Con James Walker-Harrison said: "Jalo and Dagostino are the first people to be sentenced as part of this operation to make the county hostile towards county lines drug dealers and prevent further exploitation of young and vulnerable people.
