This nonsense has to stop,if you believe the TV adverts then 80 % of the UK is black.its just PC woke rubbish.

This sounds like a racist article.

These are actual local people. Not many BAME live in Driffield. Grow up

Get a grip !

Should have gone all out and painted them with Leather shoes just to piss the Vegans off as well.

EthnicEnglish Not all of England is like London, in fact most of English towns have white majority. Can u imagine someone complaining in India if a town there showed local Indians or in Africa showing Africans. Diversity is being forced where it isn't needed or wanted. Stand proud Driffield

Just colour in some of the faces and paint over a few arms and legs and add some wheels...hey presto! No one is offended.

Stop shit stirring

If the 'well-known' personalities who work in Driffield town centre are all white then what's wrong with depicting them as they are?

I think it looks very nice

Elsewhere on the BBC... 🙄

images of 'well-known personalities'…..so these are representative of actual people, so unless there’s a prominent black person who’s been deliberately omitted, I can’t see a problem!

Must be awful caring about such things. I'd rather enjoy my day.
