Hospitals have been put on standby after the horror crash unfolded on the A385 between Totnes and Paignton just before 11am.Photos show the bus overturned, appearing to have ploughed through bushes before coming to a rest in a field.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "We have just been informed of a major incident following a collision involving a double-decker bus on the A385 between Totnes and Paignton, near to Lombcrombe Cross. "Details are still emerging, in the meantime can we please avoid the area. Closures are expected to remain in place for the considerable future.

It’s not good 3 air ambulances many ambulances and fire engines. It’s a road that is bendy and speed kills. Hope all ok but looks bad. I think speed will be involved in this crash.
