It's that time of year again when the peaceful and tranquil countryside in Donegal is lit up by one of the biggest motorsport events in Ireland.The event is recognised as one of the best domestic rallies anywhere in the world, with a combination top drivers, tricky stages and stunning scenery.
The ceremonial start of the 2024 event takes place on Thursday evening before the action begins with the first stage on Friday morning. Legends of Irish rallying such as Bertie Fisher, Andrew Nesbitt, Billy Coleman and Manus Kelly are also multiple winners of the event.The stages are fast and flowing, with stunning scenery to match the action between the hedges and fences.In previous years, the late Gymkhana star Ken Block competed at the event and Isle of Man TT legend Michael Dunlop has also hit the stages in the past.
