Hay fever symptoms could mimic coronavirus, doctors warn

How can you tell if it's hay fever or coronavirus?

While many symptoms - such as a runny nose - are different, hay fever can also prompt a cough that can alarm both sufferers and those around them. The Royal College of GPs said sufferers should consider whether their symptoms are the same as in previous years.

I got a splinter today but I hear that could be a new symptom of covid🧐. Chill out with this nonsense

So funny, so such a serious illness is now being compared to hayfever? Financial catastrophe for years... people wake up, all the information is out there... The truth is out there

NI Haven't read anywhere that sneezing is a covid-19 symptom. In fact, it seems to be the only symptom where several well known sites have simply stated sneezing isn't covid-19, likely a cold or allergies. I quite like that, as I sneeze daily with allergies.

Its great if you want bit of space around yourself when shopping. Nice hayfever sneeze clears the aisles.

The main difference is that allergies don't tend to affect your lungs that much. The stuffy nose, coughing and sore throat, yes.

Question is, could the coronavirus mimic hay fever?

Having had Covid 19 and hayfever, you will know the difference, Covid wasnt nasal at all very sore throat, cough and headache
