Campaigners have called on the British authorities to refuse permission for a vast Saudi ship carrying military equipment to dock in the UK because the Gulf kingdom is still embroiled in the war in Yemen.
They can say whatever they want. The truth is, these ships abide by International Laws and Regulations, and legally nothing can stop them from docking in the UK. Saudi Arabia is using these arms to curb Iran's expansionist destructive plan in Yemen and the Middle East.
If the shipment is a shipment of weapons, then it is certainly among the agreements with the source it is coming from, bearing in mind that if the tendency is to criticize the war in Yemen, Saudi Arabia is an advocate of peace not of war, and its position is defensive.
This is a legitimate right for Saudi Arabia! Who will protect Saudi Arabia from terrorist attacks and Iranian threats? Saudi Arabia has the right to protect its security in the face of threats to it from Iran by all available means
The biased media inciting against the ship which is delivering arms for defending its national security and turn a blind eye about a terrorist group that occupied entire country and turned against its legitimacy, this is black spot in the western media credibility
the kingdom has the right to defend themselves from terrorism by buying arms LEGALLY. besides the kingdom didnt start this war. the houthis did.
But how will they collect the arms?
those weapons are not used in yemen, weapons deals are clear and legal and not hidden, also the fact that saudi arabia is supporting a political solution in yemen is clear too. 'campaigners' must ask houthi to stop the crisis instead of following a saudi ship.
Saudi ships meet all legal requirements for navigation, and they have the right to dock in all international ports. The problem is not related to Yemen war, as common, but is related to fears of the development of Kingdom's arsenal, which able to overturn the balanced of power.
heh why not go even farther and ban it from entering our waters like we ban the french fishing boats? lol
