I was born in Nigeria, where I contracted polio. It limits my mobility because my left leg is smaller and shorter than my right. I’ve had it since my first birthday, so it’s all I’ve ever known. Scoliosis was also an issue for me and I had to wear a back brace until I was 18. I moved to London when I was four but it wasn’t until my late teens that my parents even allowed me to travel on a local bus on my own. Now, it’s important for me to be able to travel by myself.
Awareness is key for everyone in travel and in everyday life. Have patience, be understanding. Pointing finger at me.☝️ 😉
