Is there anything more guaranteed to stir public emotion than the prospect of the NHS running out of intensive care beds and Covid-19 victims being left to die in corridors? First, we were told, that beds in Liverpool were 95 per cent full, then we were told those in Manchester were 80 per cent full. Wow, it is easy to think: it will only take a few more people on the general ward to develop complications and the NHS will have to throw in the towel.
Investigation of infection controls would be good. Not advanced enough. Is there any use of UVC light for example? Do they even know about it?
Spreading patients around the trusts would help! We can't visit anyway so it doesn't matter if they are miles away from family.
Yes. But not evenly spread geographically. Although they werent at 'The Peak' either. I dont think anybody is saying it is as bad as April. But its not exactly rosy either. Especially not in the NW
sulaluna This is in direct conflict to what many CCU and ITU units are saying..... I prefer to believe the latter......
sulaluna Oh the 'Tory graph' do you now work in the hospitals? Do you have direct personnel experience of this?
It’s all a con and a huge abuse of headlines to satisfy the crazy rules dreamt up by these idiots who are running the asylum
Tory propaganda
Correct. Go out and hug your grandkids. Please.
Sadly soon to change again
SandraWors3 lol that head-gear
SRising2020 Different story in the US
Yeah, and what's going to happen in the next few months, do you think?
GazWatty1 This was written by Ross Clark😂😂 so its absolute steaming bullshit
allisonpearson Yes and if they have less beds it looks like they are overwhelmed...!
BettyJa08291909 Know your numbers. Stop swallowing the government narrative.
I hope at the end of all this we can have a enquiry on the media agencies responsible for scare campaigning and misreporting COVID data to suit the fear agenda.
The government prefers to see a nation crushed on its knees before accepting corona crisis is a big exaggerated bullshit
and few were full then
allisonpearson Thank you telegraph for telling the truth
allisonpearson Didn't believe it anyhow, they are lying all the time, and scaremongering constantly. The main thing is why And why the hell are we putting up with this dictatorship of us all. Stand up everyone, don't be sheep. Over 99%of us will be fine.
allisonpearson At present being the key phrase here.
allisonpearson I'd not heard any of these scare stories. Latest lockdowns are about preventing that happening. Crucial point that a talking sausage understands. But the Telegraph - and all who comment within her bilious walls - do not.
I do think it is entirely possible that many ICUs will be overrun but this is, in my opinion, due to years of neglect, mismanagement and a lack of willingness to confront the challenges that come with an ageing population
Austria 2020 march
Maybe not every ICU, but talk to some doctors cross country and see how they feel on the front line. Even if its not happening everywhere yet, if numbers continue to rise, probability says it will.
At the moment. Unless we arrest the continued growth in cases that will change soon enough. Already Liverpool has more covid patients in hospital than they did in spring.
Panic porn
believe the doctors in your local hospital when they say they have run out of ICU beds never believe the scare story mongers like the .
LockdownNo Don't believe any of the narrative. The tests, hospital admissions, death rates, politicians' lies, or anything to do with the vaxx! It's all about control only. Happening worldwide because of the WHO scamdemic tactics.
LockdownNo Throw away your masks, see your friends & your family, open your businesses, welcome your loved ones to your home, hug grandparents, reject anti-social distancing, travel, love & live life & when they try to stop you, tell them that you're Trent Hardcastle IamTrentHardcastle
LockdownNo Don't believe any of the rubbish put out by the media about this overhyped flu.
The old fella Ross just blathers on. When are you going to get some real journos?
The Manchester hospitals have already said they are ALWAYS busy this time of the year, look back at autumn and winter headlines for previous years... 2018 the BBC reported patients were dying on the corridors! Just a shame the government didn't give them extra funding before now!
SJJB55 Well Poland is taking some drastic action ... Via Euronews: Poland will convert Warsaw stadium into temporary COVID-19 hospital
When the clocks go back does the virus get to know?
It is a fake statistic made by mathematicians not by microbiologists!
Yes, Ross clark a cambridgeshire resident tell doctors in manchester region theyre lying. A totally trustworthy journalist........
Fake news students the problem💀🏴☠️
'Everything's fine. Nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.' --
Fake news !! Come to hospital
Phew. Panic over. Let’s go down the pub to celebrate
Fear is control
All those associated with this cruel, devastating hoax imposed on the world should be brought to trial.
Patriotic_Storm Media and snowflake easy manipulated r the real virus
Maybe we believe the death toll and over 26k cases a day?
Just look to Australia to see whats next in the plan for England to change to the new way of doing things.

Dont believe anything the torygraph says. Run by tories who have an agenda 🙄
OK one of my best mates who’s wife works in one must be lying to me then 🙄 Full and turning away patients and sending them to another hospital 45 miles away, as all surrounding towns/cities are also full.
Also don’t believe most of COVID19 stories‼️ Because some media centers and some sick people, are the reason for spreading fear and rumors among the community‼️
TwitterSupport still letting covid19 lies get out from the 'established' media
Maybe they could put to use all those hospital beds they wasted money on in their pop up hospitals.
