The incompetence of the government is incomprehensible. They had 18 months to add more staff, build more wards, they can use the army medical resources. There were a million things they could have done, but they did nothing. And now.. This.
It's only going to get worse as after the Universal Credit cut, NI Tax, income tax, council tax, electric, gas and food price increases, many of us NHS staff can no longer make ends meet. I'm seriously considering quitting the NHS as are many others I know. So brace yourselves.
The politicians wasted 20 months not-getting-ready.
