Dogs trapped in burning house make miracle escape after window explodes

A Scots woman who lost everything after a fire destroyed her home says her two dogs made a miraculous escape after a living room window exploded.

Within minutes, Claire then received a phone call from a local resident who had found Luna at a nearby Aldi supermarket. Fire fighters at the scene told the relieved customer service assistant her dogs survived after heat from the flames caused her living window to explode - and provided an escape for her trapped pets.

"My neighbours said they heard dogs barking and squealing before there was a loud bang. They called the fire brigade, who arrived quickly and thankfully no-one was hurt which could have easily been the case when I live in a mid-terrace.Claire had left her home at 8.39am to travel to work at Morrison's supermarket. Just before she started her shift, she noticed she had received dozens of notifications from her indoor camera system.
