The latest game in the long-running TV show brings characters like Eric, Stan, and Tolkien to 3D with several unique mechanics. Here’s what you need to know about whether you can play with friends across platforms.There is no official information regarding crossplay in South Park: Snow Day.

While it will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, we don’t know if players will be able to team up across platforms. It appears that you’ll need to be on the same platform to band up against the game’s stages. Since co-op combat is one of Snow Day’s main draws, crossplay might arrive after launch. But for now, you’ll only be able to plan out your combat strategies together with random players unless your friends are on the same platform as you.

Considering that most games skip this feature, Snow Day will likely omit this as well. This means that your progress and saves will not be transferred across platforms.
