Shane's face is looking very smooth on I'm A Celebrity...

Welcome to your 6th instalment of Nips, Tucks and WTFs with yours truly, Dr Esho! Like the entire nation, I’ve been glued to this year’s I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here but while you may have been fascinated by the ancient castle, I’ve been captivated by certain faces that may or may not have had a little restoration work of their own done….

Now before a big TV appearance, it’s not uncommon for stars to visit doctors like yours truly for a quick nip, tuck and tweak to look their best on screen. If I was lucky enough to get on the show – my not-so-secret wish, second only to strutting my stuff on Strictly! – I would definitely be tempted. We forget men are under just the same pressures as women to look good, but unfortunately it’s just less socially acceptable for a man to do something about it.

But if he has had a little spruce up, what could he have done? Let’s look more closely at the photos of him before the castle... Skin Looking at Mr Richie's face, I was struck by how smooth his face looks – even the scar dating back to his Pontins Bluecoat days looks slightly smoother – BUT he still has all the movement in his face. In my view, this could suggest not Botox but laser resurfacing. This process uses a powerful laser to deliver controlled “burns” to the skin and remove several layers of the skin whilst stimulating the face to produce more collagen.
