Ye but on another note harry and martle going away again 👍🏻

What do you expect when you elect a ‘rich only’ party. That’s what they want to do, kill off the poor people. NHS costs go up, police cuts, pay freezes, no state benefits, bedroom tax, landlord tax, higher mortgage rates, over inflated property prices, plastic bag charges etc etc

Most are foreigners.

This is also a parental responsibility. A lot of people put off having kids until they can afford a house.

Nigel60007 until UK media take the issue of poverty seriously and make some good quality investigative journalistic reports called 'who exactly profits from poverty' I think the present capitalist corruption will continue and more children will learn to be depressed at an early age

To busy housing illegals

Forcing landlords to sell has meant fewer homes to rent and higher prices. Higher taxes were poorly thought out policy by a weak Tory government trying to gain popular votes.

most don't want tarnished with the label of being in social/council housing and the rest are those who are not allowed social/council for non=payment anti-social behaviour etc etc

This is life in a capitalist far right Tory government UK ....child poverty in ' private ' rented homes...!

Thought we where on of the richest country’s around but these figures don’t show that

PrudentPiller Not surprised. Have you seen how much rent rates are? You can't solve it by higher min-wage; that just puts up the price of fuel & groceries as companies have to shell out more on wages. Usually engineers suffer as their wage is capped but others rise.

Greed is part of the human condition and millennial narcissism only compounds the issue. There is no law or guidelines to prevent a person owning 6 houses and charge extortionate fees. My rent is £450 for a room. There are 6 people sharing. Do the math.

Why are your'e presenters giving the tories a free ride in every interview they do and are trying to discredit jeremy corbyn, this sickening shit has been going on for years, shame on and BBCNews

Conservatives and theresa_may are doing a great job ....at killing off the poor

Unacceptable! Government must step in immediately!
