Lieutenant Dan the disabled dog is favorite to win Cadbury’s annual search for an Easter bunny
Treeing walker coonhound Lieutenant Dan, who lives in New Richmond, Ohio, has been chosen as one of 10 finalists vying to appear in chocolate maker Cadbury’s Clucking Easter Bunny Commercial. Dan has urged for fans to vote for him ahead of the contest’s closing date on March 18. If he wins, he will make regular appearances on Cadbury commerials until Easter Sunday on April 12 – and receive a $5,000 prize.Cadbury’s casting call says that any type of pet is allowed to enter the contest, with last year’s title taken by a bulldog called Henri.
